  Room was recently renovated, bathroom was spa like (minus a tub), sleek hardwood floors, great furniture, comfortable bed - quite modern, yet, rustic. Very clean and well stocked with more than an adequate amount of storage space. It's not your average "motel". Amazing view of the harbour, quite nice indeed. All for an affordable price.

  The location is great, close to all the business in the area, a great view of the harbour and the place was clean. However this place has no air conditioning, having visited in September was ok but if it was in July or August I would not recommend this place, all you have is a ceiling fan. I don't know if there is enough sound proofing in the walls or not but you hear everything especially if you are a lite sleeper, I guess this is why ear plugs are available. Note even in mid September the place was fully booked, it is advisable to book in advance.

  Blue Bay Motel was very nice. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and our room was not ready yet but the motel allowed us to park our car in the lot while we went to explore the area. They also sent an email to let us know when the room was ready! Excellent service! Would stay there again

  Cool view at the lake. Restaurants, Cruise and recreations all within walking distance. Will plan a stay again, if we are to Tobermory.

  To call this place a motel, doesn't do it justice. We stayed only one night, but it was amazing. If you stay in room 16 it has two full walls of windows. The outside is clean and crisp. You could tell it was built a long time ago, and my kids were skeptical on arrival. When I entered the room... wow! Whoever redecorated and updated did a great job. There were little touches that added to the room. Real coffee cups for morning coffee, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, rope redecordations around the bathtub and mirror. We loved it... my only complaint is that we didn't have another night to stay. Oh yeah... they had bikes you could borrow and ride around the island for free! Who does that?
