  We stayed in our RV below your motel. Our friends stayed in your motel. We visited them with a small dog which we were told could not be in the room by floor manager. I'm assuming you thought we were staying there unreported. We moved outside. After sitting outside room on patio for at least a hour with our dog on leash we were then informed manager drove by and called to tell us to remove dog off property. Your hotel is cute, clean and convenient but to kick us off your property was insulting and overboard. Dog was quiet, we are responsible pet owners and our friends have indicated they will not stay at motel again because of the treatment nor the guests next door to us.

  The stay was sufficient as we used it only to sleep. Friends paid extra for the room with a view and their room was less dark. The room just needs a new carpet and wall paper and it would be great. However our bed sheets and bathroom were clean which is the important thing. There's lots of parking, free filter coffee in the morning. The location was great. A 20second walk from the lake where you can catch a boat tour (at a discounted through the motel) or watch the sunset. Its also a few minutes walk from Tobermory harbour where all your little shops and restaurants are.

  The motel is very clean and well situated. The bed is very comfortable and the room was spacious. No restaurant on site but its only a short walking distance to lots of restaurants. The staff were amazing helpful and kind. And the guests receive a reduced price on the boat trips which is a big bonus. This motel has a lovely observation deck across from it. Which my husband and I enjoyed . We will definitely go back.

  Our experience at both the motel and on the boat tours could not have been any better. We encountered some truly professional and courteous staff, who really stood out in both helpfulness and kindness. The room was not anything fancy but was clean and comfortable. What a great value. Will be back to the Bruce Anchor during our next visit!

  The location and our room were perfect. Yet, the best part of our stay was the stuff. Very helpful and considerate people! When we had to interrupt our trip early due to the unexpected event, they accommodated us immediately and later even returned our payment for the rest of the stay in full without any request from us (we thought that this money was lost). Thank you very much!
