Camped at Cypress Lake in July 2015 in the Tamarack Campground. There are lots of large, private sites suitable for tent or small trailer camping in Tamarack. There are a ton of hiking trails in the park including access to the Bruce Trail along the coast of Lake Huron. We did a 12km hike along the Bruce including a visit to the Grotto and other caves which was fantastic. We also did the 6km trail around Cyrpus Lake. I would give this review 5 starts except for 1) The noise levels of same large groups of teenagers that went on until well into the morning hours, 2) The fact that the park has no shower facilities - you have to pay about $6-8 to take a shower at a business outside the park.

Great camp ground! Beautiful Lake and super close to the Grotto. Easy to read directions! I'd definitely recommend coming here and spending a night if you plan to visit the grotto, with all the tourists the day can be exhausting

Love this campground. Such clear and beautiful water. Hiking trails are amazing with some of the best views in Canada. We stayed in a yurt which was very warm and cozy. We had the wood stove going to warm up the place and it was wonderful. A tip to those who have never been in one, there is no electricity so make sure you bring lamps and lots of batteries.
